What will happen during a Paranormal Investigation?

Before an investigation would begin you would be asked to record events that have already occurred in a log and keep it up to date with events that may still be happening. In your log (can be a simple notepad) note the dates and times of the events describe what happened and any other information you think is important. Other methods of recording the activity that you can provide the investigator with will prove very useful in determining what is happening. Photographs, Video recordings and sound recordings can all help to provide the investigator a clearer picture of what is going on. The Paranormal Investigators will then if necessary arrange a time to visit the location of the events.

A Gathering of Data.

It is wise to keep the people present at the 'location-visit' to a minimum. Restrict it to just persons who have witnessed the event(s) and/or immediate family. The reason for this is that the equipment that the investigators will bring with them is extremely sensitive and could be disturbed by the presence of several people. The investigator's will attempt to recreate the conditions that caused the event to occur and use the equipment to record any unusual activity that may not be detected by the human senses. For example fluctuations in magnetic fields or sudden changes in temperature.

Once all the dats has been recorded and the entire event scrutinized and researched the paranormal investigators will provide you with as detailed an explanation of how/why the event is occurring. If the cause of the occurrence is physical, i.e. a rodent infestation or building settling (causes noises) then a solution is to call in the necessary workmen to repair or remove the cause of the problem. However if the cause is determined to be Paranormal then a more radical solution is needed.
